In September's webinar we talked about the role of the board, and how it can serve as a partner, not a problem. A significant role that the board and the board directors play is representing the community in the nonprofit, and representing the nonprofit in the community. Recruiting and engaging directors who can take the organization in their trust, offering leadership, oversight, and support is key. On top of that you also have to balance compliance with what your community expects, your contractual partners require, and your stakeholders encourage.
We will be joined by guests who can speak from experience and answer your questions. These include Deanna Wilbern and Olivia Freckmann from Milwaukee's CDGA office who can answer questions about HUD requirements.
Join us as we talk through strategies, tips, and tools to help you get the right people on your team.
